2016荆门国际马拉松是（简称“荆马”），由中国田径协会、湖北省体育局、荆门市人民政府主办，湖北省体育局田径运动管理中心、荆门市文化体育新闻出版广电局承办，互通国际传播集团负责赛事运营及推广。是荆门又一影响力巨大的体育盛会。

2016 Jingmen International Marathon ("Jing-Ma" for short) is hosted by Chinese Athletic Association, Hubei Administration of Sport and the People's Government of Jingmen Municipality, organized by Athletics Administration Center of Hubei Administration of Sport, Jingmen Culture, Sports and News Publication Bureau, and all of the sport events will be operated and promoted by Intercom Int’l Communication Group. The race will definitely be another influential sport event in Jingmen.

2016荆门国际马拉松将于5月2日举办，赛事以“奔跑吧，荆马”为主题，推动全民健身，倡导健康生活方式，同时提升荆门城市知名度和影响力，将荆马塑造成华中地区一张靓丽的城市名片。

Jing-Ma will kick off on May 2nd under the theme of "Run, Jing-Ma". This event is organized with a view of promoting  nationwide fitness campaign, and advocating a healthy lifestyle. In the meantime, the city of Jingmen will also become more reputable and influential by hosting such event, thus  standing out as a banner city in the Central China region.

首届荆门国际马拉松设置全程马拉松、半程马拉松、4公里迷你乐跑三个项目，其中，全程马拉松参赛人数3000人，半程马拉松4000人，迷你乐跑8000人。荆马赛道以荆门生态运动公园东广场为起点，沿途经过象山大道、漳河大道、爱飞客机场、彭家湾等地。集中展示了荆门漳河水库边上的人文风情和最具荆楚特色的风景名胜。

The first Jingmen International Marathon involves three categories of races, namely Full Marathon, Half Marathon and Mini Marathon (4 km), with participants reaching 3,000, 4,000 and 8,000, respectively. Starting from the east square of Jingmen Ecological Sports Park, the racing course for Jing-Ma extends all the way along Xiangshan Avenue, Zhanghe Avenue, Avic Airport, and Pengjiawan, etc. All the sceneries down the course display the splendid cultural customs along the Zhanghe Reservoir as well as the most typical  scenic spots of Hubei, China.
